Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Graphic Designer; who is both a visual thinker and a hands-on creator — someone who can design powerful visuals, craft engaging 2D videos and Reels, he / she will lead the creative direction of our visuals that will impact our marketing campaigns. This is not just about making things look good — it's about creating content that moves people and drives business results.

  • Lead the design and visual direction of major marketing campaigns — including master visuals, branding extensions, and digital assets.
  • Own and work with cartona’s brand guidelines, design systems, and creative direction.
  • Lead creative brainstorming sessions and present visual concepts along with the marketing team.
  • Design and animate 2D videos and motion content for social media, app promotion, educational explainers, and product.
  • Own the end-to-end creative design & video process — from concept and storyboard to final execution across both motion and static visuals.
  • Develop eye-catching Reels, Shorts, and vertical videos tailored to Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
  • Translate marketing objectives into strong visuals that speak to Cartona’s target audience: retailers and suppliers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, content, and product teams to ensure cohesive communication.
  • Guide and mentor junior designers and freelancers as needed, upholding design quality and brand consistency.
  • Stay updated on design trends, animation styles, and digital storytelling techniques to keep Cartona ahead of the curve.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in motion graphics and graphic design, ideally in startups, tech companies, or creative agencies.
  • Proven expertise in 2D animation and creating content for social media (Reels, short-form, brand videos).
  • Strong design skills in visual storytelling, campaign ideation, and master visual creation.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro.
  • Strong understanding of branding, typography, layout, and visual hierarchy.
  • Experience working with or leading the development of multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to lead brainstorming sessions and present creative ideas to executives and cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborative mindset and experience working closely with different departments
  • Up-to-date with the latest design trends, motion techniques, and digital formats.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating both motion and graphic work, with a focus on social and campaign content.
