We are looking for a highly analytical and commercially driven Category Specialist to support the growth and performance of assigned categories. The role is responsible for managing day-to-day category operations, supplier relationships, pricing execution, assortment optimization, and commercial analysis while working closely with the Senior Category Manager to achieve business objectives.

- Manage the day-to-day performance of assigned categories.
- Monitor sales, GMV, gross margin, and key commercial KPIs.
- Support the development and execution of category growth plans.
- Identify opportunities to improve category performance and profitability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned suppliers.
- Coordinate pricing updates, promotions, product launches, and commercial activities.
- Support commercial negotiations, including payment terms, rebates, credit terms, and promotional agreements.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with agreed commercial terms and service levels.
- Follow up on purchase orders, stock availability, and replenishment.
- Resolve day-to-day supplier operational issues.
- Analyze category performance and provide actionable recommendations.
- Monitor SKU productivity, assortment gaps, pricing competitiveness, and customer demand.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking and market analysis.
- Prepare weekly and monthly business performance reports.
- Work closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless execution of commercial initiatives.
- Support the execution of category campaigns, new product launches, and promotional activities.
- Ensure pricing, product information, and promotional data are accurate and up to date.
- Monitor stock availability and minimize out-of-stock situations.
- Maintain category dashboards and performance trackers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Category Management, Commercial, Buying, Retail, E-commerce, or FMCG.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel skills; Power BI is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
