Position Overview

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Classera, you’ll be a key player in building and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our EdTech platforms. You will focus on automating deployments, managing CI/CD pipelines, and operating cloud and Kubernetes environments to ensure a secure, reliable, and scalable production ecosystem. You’ll work closely with engineering teams to streamline delivery, improve observability, and drive an automation-first culture.

Experience:

5+ years in DevOps / SRE, with strong hands-on skills in cloud platforms, CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. CI/CD Management: Architect and manage Jenkins CI/CD pipelines to streamline releases and improve delivery reliability.
2. Configuration Management: Use Ansible for consistent, automated deployment and configuration across environments.
3. Monitoring & Observability: Implement and maintain monitoring solutions (e.g., Grafana) for proactive system health management.
4. Kubernetes Management: Design and manage Kubernetes clusters to support scalable, resilient applications.
5. Cloud Platform Expertise: Operate resources on Azure and AWS for secure, scalable cloud management.
6. Automation: Streamline repetitive tasks across the DevOps lifecycle to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
7. Open-Source & Best Practices: Apply open-source tooling and DevOps best practices to enhance stability, security, and performance.
8. Database (Plus): Experience with database tooling is a plus, particularly ProxySQL.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure and AWS
• Solid experience with Kubernetes
• Proven expertise in CI/CD, especially Jenkins
• Strong automation/configuration management skills using Ansible
• Experience with Grafana (monitoring and observability)
• Strong automation mindset (automation-first, proactive approach)
• Familiarity with open-source tools and DevOps best practices
• Database experience is a plus, particularly ProxySQL
