About the Role

Classera is looking for a Product Owner – AI to lead the discovery, design, and delivery of AI-powered products across multiple platforms, including EdTech (LMS), Training Management Systems (TMS), and FinTech solutions.

We are looking for a highly technical and hands-on product professional who can turn AI opportunities into real, scalable products. This role requires someone who can validate ideas through rapid POCs, work closely with technical teams, and drive AI features from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive AI product strategy across LMS, TMS, and FinTech platforms

• Identify high-impact AI opportunities such as:

• Intelligent automation

• Recommendation engines

• Fraud detection and risk scoring

• Predictive analytics

• Conversational AI

• Lead rapid prototyping and POC development to validate AI ideas before full-scale implementation

• Work hands-on with tools such as LLM APIs, Python, AI prototyping tools, and prompt engineering frameworks

• Translate business needs into clear technical requirements, user stories, PRDs, and acceptance criteria

• Define high-level system architecture, API interactions, and data flows

• Collaborate closely with AI/ML engineers, developers, designers, data teams, and business stakeholders

• Own the full AI feature lifecycle from discovery to optimization

• Monitor model performance, including accuracy, latency, and cost efficiency

• Ensure AI solutions are scalable, secure, compliant, and production-ready

• Establish guardrails for safe, ethical, and explainable AI usage

Requirements

• 1–3+ years of experience in Product Management / Product Ownership

• Experience in at least one of the following domains:
• EdTech
• TMS / Enterprise Platforms
• FinTech / Payments
• Strong understanding of:
• AI/ML concepts such as LLMs, NLP, recommendation systems, and predictive models
• APIs, microservices, and system integrations
• Data pipelines and structured/unstructured data
• Hands-on ability to:
• Build or contribute to AI POCs
• Use tools such as Python, Postman, or AI prototyping tools
• Perform prompt engineering and test AI outputs
• Strong experience in:
• Writing PRDs and user stories
• Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Roadmap planning and prioritization
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical thinking and execution mindset

Nice to Have

• Experience integrating AI into production systems
• Familiarity with:
• Prompt engineering frameworks
• Vector databases and embeddings
• AI orchestration tools
• Experience working with large-scale enterprise or government clients
