Role Summary:
Classera is looking for a Senior Business / System Analyst to support complex digital transformation and education technology projects.
The role will focus on analyzing business and system requirements, preparing detailed documentation, and bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in business analysis, system analysis, BRD/SRS documentation, process mapping, requirements validation, and UAT support.
Experience in EdTech, Student Information Systems (SIS), Learning Management Systems (LMS), education platforms, or government education projects is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and validate business and system requirements from internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and Software/System Requirements Specifications (SRS).
- Translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements.
- Document user journeys, process flows, workflows, use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Analyze current-state and future-state processes, including As-Is / To-Be analysis.
- Conduct gap analysis between business needs, system capabilities, and technical delivery.
- Work closely with development, QA, UI/UX, architecture, implementation, and project teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood.
- Support system design discussions by clarifying business rules, data flows, integrations, and expected system behavior.
- Review UI/UX wireframes and prototypes to ensure alignment with business and system requirements.
- Support UAT planning, test scenario preparation, defect clarification, and business validation.
- Manage change requests by analyzing impact, documenting changes, and communicating updates to stakeholders.
- Maintain documentation quality, traceability, version control, and sign-off readiness.
- Prepare stakeholder presentations, requirement walkthroughs, and status updates when needed.
- Support implementation teams during go-live, post-go-live validation, and user feedback cycles.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Business Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, System Analyst, Business System Analyst, or Senior Business Analyst.
- Strong hands-on experience preparing BRD, SRS, FSD, use cases, user stories, process flows, and requirement traceability documents.
- Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models.
- Experience working directly with technical teams, QA teams, UI/UX teams, implementation teams, and project managers.
- Strong ability to translate business requirements into clear system specifications.
- Experience in UAT support, test case review, defect clarification, and requirement validation.
- Strong communication skills in Arabic and English.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, ownership, and attention to detail.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in EdTech, SIS, LMS, education platforms, school management systems, or higher education systems.
- Experience working on government or ministry-related digital transformation projects.
- Experience with integrations, APIs, data flows, or multi-system platforms.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio, Draw.io, Figma, Postman, or SQL.
- Experience in education-related modules such as student registration, attendance, grades, exams, timetables, academic plans, school transport, parent/student portals, teacher/admin workflows, or ministry reporting.
