Role And Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bouquet factory, ensuring the timely and efficient preparation of flower arrangements and bouquets.
- Train and supervise the team of florists, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and adherence to company standards. Educate them on the proper handling, care, and maintenance of flowers and floral supplies.
- Create and design various floral arrangements and bouquets according to client preferences, occasions, and design requirements.
- Monitor and maintain the inventory of flowers, greenery, and other floral supplies, ensuring an adequate stock level and quality control.
- Clean, cut, and properly care for flowers to maintain their freshness and longevity.
- Manage the condition and availability of decorative flower tools and materials, such as foam, pins, shapers, ribbons, etc.
- Stay updated on the latest floral design trends, techniques, and industry advancements to provide innovative and creative floral solutions to customers.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and special requests related to floral arrangements and bouquets.
- Maintain accurate records of invoices, inventory, and other relevant data for reporting purposes.
- Manage the schedules of the staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak periods and special events.
- Any other tasks as assigned by the management.
- In-depth knowledge of different flower types, their care, and appropriate handling techniques.
- Proficient in different floral design styles and wrapping techniques.
- Strong creativity and artistic skills to create visually appealing and unique floral arrangements and design catalogues.
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient workflow.
- Flexibility to work during weekends, holidays, and peak seasons as required.
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy flower arrangements, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is advantageous.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3+ years of experience as a florist.
