Responsibilities:
1. Define and document product requirements in-line with the product vision and business goals: Translate high level product vision into actionable user stories, ensuring that product features are well-defined, user-friendly, and aligned with industry best practices.
2. Collaborate with Engineering, User Experience, SMEs, Clients, Client facing teams within Fold, and other stakeholders to define product requirements.
3. Manage/maintain a prioritized product backlog: Work closely with various stakeholders to understand market needs, competitive landscape, customer feedback and business priorities to define a clear product roadmap.
4. Lead Agile development process: Act as the voice of the customer and product champion within the Agile development team, participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups to ensure that development efforts are aligned with customer needs and business goals.
5. Regularly collaborate with UX designers to ensure that user stories and product requirements are aligned with best practices in user experience design.
6. Conduct user testing and validation: Coordinate user testing and validation activities, as needed, to gather feedback, iterate on product features, and ensure that solutions meet user needs, usability standards, and regulatory requirements.
7. Facilitate continuous feedback loops with customers and internal stakeholders to iteratively improve product features and user satisfaction.
8. Measure and analyze product performance: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure product success, analyzing data and user feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
9. SPOC for all product related asks/queries to all internal teams, strategic partners, clients (when needed).
10. Stay informed about industry trends: Keep abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and regulations in the US healthcare industry, providing insights and recommendations to inform product strategy and roadmap prioritization.
11. Create comprehensive release notes documenting new features, enhancements, bug fixes, and other changes introduced in each product release, ensuring clear communication and transparency with stakeholders.
12. Collaborate with development and QA teams to triage reported bugs, prioritize them based on product priority and impact, and ensure timely resolution, maintaining a balance between addressing critical issues and advancing product development.
13. Identify potential risks in the product development lifecycle and develop mitigation strategies in collaboration with the development and QA teams.
14. Organize training sessions and create knowledge-sharing materials to ensure all stakeholders are well-informed about new features and updates.
Requirements
1. 2+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in a healthcare technology company or related industry.
2. Working knowledge of the US healthcare system, primary care delivery models, alternate payment models, and regulatory requirements.
3. Good understanding of value-based care (VBC) models and workflows, with experience in aligning technology solutions to VBC goals.
4. Basic knowledge of large language models (LLMs) and their applications in healthcare to drive intelligent, data-driven insights.
5. Basic understanding of BI/reporting tools and ability to think through how product features translate into actionable reports and dashboards.
6. Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies and best practices, with experience leading cross-functional Agile teams in the development of complex software solutions.
7. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels and drive consensus around product decisions and priorities.
8. Analytical mindset and proficiency in data-driven decision-making, with the ability to leverage analytical tools and metrics to measure product performance, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement.
9. Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar Agile certification preferred.
10. Basic knowledge around EHR/HIE systems and integration with these systems preferred.
11. Ability to write and run basic SQL queries to independently analyze and validate healthcare data preferred.
