Location: US Remote (East Coast preferred; travel required ~25-40%)
Fold Health is hiring a Director of Implementations to lead enterprise implementations for value-based care organizations nationwide. As Fold scales to support larger and more complex provider groups (ACOs, MSOs, and risk-bearing organizations), this role will own predictable, high-quality go-lives and ensure customers realize measurable clinical, operational, and financial value.
This is a senior, hands-on leadership role with end-to-end ownership of implementations and strategic oversight of early post-go-live success (approximately 75% implementation / 25% customer success). The ideal candidate has deep experience implementing enterprise healthcare technology, understands provider operations, and can lead confidently across clinical, operational, technical, and executive stakeholders.
Own Enterprise Implementations
• Lead the full implementation lifecycle from contract signature through go-live and stabilization.
• Define and continuously improve a scalable, repeatable implementation methodology.
• Serve as executive owner for all active implementations, accountable for timelines, quality, and outcomes.
• Lead go-live planning, execution, and early performance monitoring to ensure smooth adoption.
• Navigate complex provider organizations with multiple departments, sites, lines of business, and governance structures.
Drive Cross-Functional Execution
• Act as the single point of accountability across Product, Engineering, Data, Integrations, QA, Sales, and Customer Success.
• Translate customer needs into clear internal workstreams and resolve cross-team dependencies.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to align implementation needs with roadmap priorities while avoiding long-term technical debt.
• Support Sales in late-stage deals by validating scope, timelines, and implementation readiness.
Ensure Customer Readiness & Value Realization
• Ensure operational, clinical, and technical readiness, including workflows, staffing models, and integrations (EHR, claims, eligibility, HIEs).
• Define success metrics such as time-to-go-live, adoption readiness, and early value realization.
• Own the handoff to Customer Success with clear success plans, KPIs, and adoption milestones.
• Remain strategically involved with key enterprise customers during the first 6-12 months post-go-live.
Build Scalable Tools & Processes
• Own implementation metrics, dashboards, and reporting for executive visibility.
• Develop playbooks, templates, and internal tooling to standardize delivery.
• Define SLAs and operating rhythms with Product, Engineering, Data, QA, and Integrations.
• Ensure implementation learnings inform product improvements and go-to-market processes.
Lead & Scale the Team
• Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing Implementation team.
• Set clear roles, expectations, and accountability frameworks.
• Establish strong operating rhythms and decision-making in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
• Design training programs and enablement materials for internal teams and customers.
• This role is not a pure Customer Success or Account Management role.
• This role does not own upselling or commercial negotiations.
• Real influence: Significant ownership and visibility, with the ability to shape how Fold delivers value to its largest customers.
• Startup energy, senior impact: Fast-moving environment with autonomy to build, improve, and make decisions.
• Exceptional teammates: Work closely with a smart, mission-driven team across Product, Engineering, Data, and Customer Success.
• Meaningful impact: Your work will directly improve how healthcare providers operate and succeed in value-based care.
