About Immensa

Immensa is transforming how the world's largest energy companies address critical spare part challenges. Our solutions help asset-intensive organizations decrease over-stocking, reduce downtime, manage obsolescence, and strengthen supply chain resilience through advanced digital inventory and distributed manufacturing technologies.

We partner with some of the world's largest Oil & Gas and industrial companies, supporting mission-critical operations where reliability, quality, and trust are essential.

The Role

We're looking for a hands-on Supplier Quality & Manufacturing Engineer to qualify, audit, and develop Immensa's global manufacturing partner network, ensuring our suppliers have the technical capability and quality systems to produce high-quality industrial components for the Energy, Oil & Gas, Maritime, and Industrial sectors.

This is a shop-floor role, not a desk job: you'll be on-site with suppliers, assessing real production capability, spotting bottlenecks before they become problems, and working directly with production and quality teams to raise the bar.

What You'll Do

  • Evaluate and qualify new manufacturing suppliers through technical capability assessments and on-site audits across CNC machining, casting, additive manufacturing, fabrication, welding, heat treatment, coating, and inspection
  • Conduct manufacturing process audits focused on actual practice, not just paperwork, identifying bottlenecks and production risks before launch
  • Support suppliers through production: reviewing process/inspection plans, leading First Article Inspection, and driving root cause analysis (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, PFMEA, SPC) when issues arise
  • Drive supplier development initiatives to improve quality performance, reduce defects, and increase manufacturing maturity
  • Plan and execute supplier audits against ISO 9001, API Q1/20S, DNV, ASTM, ASME, and customer-specific requirements

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials Engineering, or related field
  • 5–10 years in manufacturing engineering, supplier quality, production, or process engineering
  • Hands-on experience with CNC machining, casting, additive manufacturing, heat treatment/surface finishing, and dimensional inspection/metrology
  • Strong command of engineering drawings, GD&T, and tolerancing
  • Comfort reading CMM data, inspection reports, and material certificates

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting Oil & Gas or Energy sector suppliers
  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, ASQ CQE, or ASQ CQA certification
  • Familiarity with API, DNV, ASME, or ASTM standards
  • Experience with supplier development programs or global supplier networks
