About Immensa

Immensa is transforming how the world's largest energy companies address critical spare part challenges. Our solutions help asset-intensive organizations decrease over-stocking, reduce downtime, manage obsolescence, and strengthen supply chain resilience through advanced digital inventory and distributed manufacturing technologies.

We partner with some of the world's largest Oil & Gas and industrial companies, supporting mission-critical operations where reliability, quality, and trust are essential.

The Role

We're looking for a Manufacturing Engineer who's the go-to technical expert for machined and sheet-metal components — someone who can read a 3D model or 2D drawing and immediately see the manufacturing route, the risks, and the right supplier to execute it. You'll own these projects end-to-end: from kick-off through supplier delivery and final inspection, ensuring On-Time-In-Full delivery every time.

This is the primary technical and commercial bridge between Immensa and our machining/fabrication supply base — translating design intent into a manufacturable, quality-assured production plan.

What You'll Do

  • Interpret 3D CAD models and 2D drawings — GD&T, datums, tolerances, surface finish, and welding callouts — for machined and sheet-metal parts
  • Select and justify the right manufacturing route (3/4/5-axis milling, turning, turn-mill, EDM, grinding; sheet-metal laser/punch, press-brake forming, welding) and work-holding strategy
  • Assess machinability, fixturing, tool access, and datum strategy, including specifying custom tooling when no standard tool fits
  • Manage project schedules and OTIF targets for assigned machining/fabrication orders, driving supplier execution and closing out technical queries
  • Lead design and process reviews, owning risk identification across technical, quality, cost, and delivery
  • Review inspection data (CMM, surface roughness, functional gauging) and disposition non-conformances
  • Support Quality on Inspection & Test Plans and supplier compliance to API/ASTM standards
  • Support estimation and tendering with realistic manufacturing costing and lead times

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Production Engineering
  • 4–5 years' experience in CNC machining and sheet-metal fabrication
  • Deep expertise in multi-axis machining, turn-mill, work-holding, cutting tools, and metrology; plus sheet-metal forming, welding, and fabrication
  • Strong GD&T reading ability across 3D models and 2D drawings
  • Familiarity with API, ASTM, and equivalent material/application standards
  • Demonstrated project-management skills — planning, scheduling, risk mitigation, stakeholder management
  • Comfortable working across multiple locations and time zones

Nice to Have

  • CAM/CNC programming familiarity
  • Experience in reverse engineering and spare-parts production
