Job Purpose:
The role sits at the core of how we understand our products and our users. You'll work across product analytics, experimentation, and ML — and your work will directly shape how hundreds of thousands of merchants and consumers experience payments across the region.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Product & event analytics: defining metrics, tracking user behavior, surfacing what actually matters
• A/B testing and experimentation: designing tests, analyzing results, feeding learnings back into product decisions
• ML models: churn, fraud signals, forecasting — things that have a real downstream impact
• Data modeling in dbt and contributing to our analytics infrastructure on Redshift
• Owning and evolving data products from automated insights, dashboards, mining and ad-hoc explorations.
• Close collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Growth in a scrum environment , you won't be working in a vacuum
• Mentoring teammates and contributing to how the data team’s operations, not just what it ships
  
  
  

REQUIREMENTS

• 2+ years in data analytics, data science or a related role
• Experience with product & event analytics tools : Amplitude, Mixpanel, Adjust, CleverTap
• Solid SQL and Python skills
• Strong working experience with BI tools: Superset, Tableau, Power BI
• Hands-on experience with dbt and data modeling best practices
• Basic data orchestration and cloud warehouse skills: Airflow, Redshift, or similar
• Understanding of classical ML models and time-series models
• Understanding of common statistical analyses
• Someone who communicates clearly, works well in agile/scrum teams, and doesn't need to be handed a problem statement
• Experience defining and working with OKR-driven metric frameworks and north star metrics at the product level
• Familiarity with growth modeling techniques such as user segmentation, propensity scoring, or lifetime value prediction.
• Prior experience in fintech, payments, or marketplace platforms
• Exposure to real-time or streaming data pipelines (Kafka, Spark, or similar)
• Exposure to ML platform tooling — feature stores, model registries, or experiment tracking (MLflow, Vertex AI, SageMaker)
• Experience contributing to or reviewing data science work in a peer-review or RFC-style process
• Understanding of privacy-preserving analytics techniques or experience working within regulated data environments
• Background in causal inference, uplift modeling, or advanced experimentation frameworks beyond standard A/B testing.
