Job Purpose:
The Market Launch Specialist plays a critical role in supporting Paymob’s GCC expansion strategy by driving market entry initiatives, regulatory readiness, and strategic growth projects across the region. Acting as a cross-functional partner to leadership, this role combines market intelligence, commercial strategy, and execution to support licensing efforts, evaluate expansion opportunities, and contribute to the successful launch and scaling of new markets. The role operates at the intersection of fintech, strategy, and operations, with direct exposure to high-impact initiatives aligned with Paymob’s regional and investor growth objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- ]Key Responsibilities:
- • Conduct in-depth market sizing, competitive landscaping, and regulatory research to support licensing and product launches in new GCC markets.
- • Build and maintain market intelligence frameworks, tracking regulatory changes, competitor moves, and partnership opportunities across the region.
- • Prepare country-level market entry assessments covering TAM, regulatory complexity, competitive dynamics, and strategic fit.
- • Lead and structure commercial due diligence for new partnerships, acquisitions, and market expansion opportunities.
- • Develop go-to-market entry plans, defining positioning, pricing strategy, channel approach, and launch sequencing for new markets.
- • Build financial models and scenario analyses to support investment decisions and board-level reporting.
- • Evaluate potential local partners, distributors, and strategic alliances in target markets.
- • Collaborate with compliance, product, legal, and commercial teams to execute regulatory and strategic milestones on time.
- • Track and drive licensing processes end-to-end from initial application to approval, coordinating across internal teams and external regulators.
- • Act as a bridge between HQ strategy and local market realities, ensuring execution aligns with both.
- • Support strategic reporting and alignment with group-level and investor objectives, preparing board materials, update decks, and performance dashboards.
- • Translate complex market and operational data into clear, compelling narratives for internal and external stakeholders.
- • Monitor KPIs across launched markets and flag risks, opportunities, and required pivots to leadership.
- ]What we're looking for:
- • 1–2 years of experience in consulting, strategy, fintech, investment banking, or market launch.
- • Strong analytical and communication skills with a structured, problem-solving mindset — comfortable turning ambiguity into action.
- • Entrepreneurial spirit — comfortable wearing multiple hats, moving fast, and working hands-on with incomplete information.

- • Fluent in English; Arabic is a strong plus.
- • Comfortable with financial modelling, data analysis, and presentation design (Excel, PowerPoint, and the usual toolkit).
