Job Description:
We are looking for a People Operations Specialist who is passionate about making a real difference in employees' lives. If you bring empathy, structure, and follow-through to every stage of the employee experience, we want to hear from you. You will be the go-to person for team members, ensuring they feel welcomed, supported, and informed while keeping operations compliant and efficient behind the scenes.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead onboarding experiences that make new hires feel valued from day one
- Own the full employee lifecycle – contracts, promotions, exits, and transitions
- Act as a trusted resource for policies, benefits, and career milestones
- Administer local & global benefits like health insurance and employee support programs
- Partner with hiring managers to streamline recruitment processes
- Maintain HR systems and records with accuracy and compliance
Compliance & Administration (Core to the Role):
- Manage government & labor portal tasks (work permits, visas, personal data submissions)
- Prepare for labor audits and liaise with authorities
- Ensure offboarding meets legal and emotional standards (visa cancellations, payroll closure, benefits termination)
- Collaborate with Finance for payroll processing & final settlements
- Roll out HR policies that balance compliance with a people-first culture
- Stay ahead of evolving legal requirements and ensure best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in people operations, HR administration, or a similar role.
- Hospitality tech, ERP systems, or F&B industry experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of employment laws, labor regulations, and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with government & labor portals for HR processes like work permits and visas.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented mindset.
- High level of attention to detail and organization in handling employee records.
- Familiarity with G Suite (Google Workspace) and Slack for collaboration.
- Experience managing HR systems and applicant tracking platforms is a bonus.
