We’re Hiring: Lead ML Engineer - Databricks Feature Store, Forecasting & Agentic AI (Remote-EMEA)

We’re looking for a Lead ML Engineer to own our feature and forecasting platform, train and serve models, and integrate them with our router-based agents. If you have deep experience in Databricks, time-series forecasting, ML/DL models, and agentic AI, this could be your next challenge.
What you’ll do:
- Design reusable Feature Tables in Unity Catalog for demand, inventory, pricing, and customer signals.
- Build probabilistic, hierarchical forecasts and deploy models via Databricks Model Serving.
- Integrate features and forecasts into agent workflows (RAG, tool-calling).
- Ensure governance, safety, and observability across ML pipelines.
- Mentor engineers and co-own reliability and incident response.
Required expertise:
- Production Databricks: Delta Lake, MLflow, Model Serving, Feature Tables, Vector Search
- Forecasting & ML: GBMs, TFT, DeepAR, ARIMA, Prophet, hierarchical and intermittent demand
- Strong PySpark/Spark SQL & Python skills
- Experience collaborating closely with data engineers
Nice to have:
- Agent orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, LangSmith)
- Optimization/replenishment or production planning experience
- Hospitality or retail domain knowledge
