Zid is seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee essential accounting functions, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and provide critical financial analysis that drives business decisions. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee Accounting Functions: Manage key accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Financial Reporting: Ensure the accuracy of financial data and deliver financial reports to management.
• Reconciliation: Manage and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Audit Leadership: Lead the annual financial audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
• Policy Development: Develop and implement accounting policies to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Financial Planning: Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and other financial planning activities.
• Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in accounting, with a strong track record in a senior accounting role.
• Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS) and experience with accounting software like Odoo, QuickBooks or SAP.
• Language: Fluency in both Arabic and English is required

Skills:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills for conveying financial data to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
• Familiarity with taxation, financial analysis, and auditing processes.
• Certification: CPA or relevant professional certification is preferred.
