Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate and creative UX Design Intern to join our Product Design team. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience working on real projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to designing user experiences that are both functional and delightful. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced designers and gain insights into user-centered design within a dynamic and fast-growing environment.

Responsibilities

• User Research: Assist in conducting user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights into user needs, pain points, and behaviors.
• Wireframing & Prototyping: Support in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and interactive prototypes to visualize user interactions and design concepts.
• UI/UX Design: Collaborate with the design team to develop user interface elements and optimize UX for Zid’s products, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
• Feedback Iteration: Incorporate feedback from senior designers, stakeholders, and user testing into iterative design improvements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other teams to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
• Documentation: Document design processes, research findings, and insights to help improve Zid’s design knowledge base and maintain design consistency.
• Market Research: Conduct competitive analyses and stay updated with UX/UI trends, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• Design Tools: Proficiency in design software such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar tools. Knowledge of prototyping tools is a plus.
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing UX/UI design projects, wireframes, and user flows (academic projects are acceptable).
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and usability.
• Ability to translate complex ideas into visually appealing and user-friendly designs.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and receive feedback constructively.
• Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail and an understanding of how design impacts usability and accessibility.
• Passion for Learning: Eagerness to learn and grow within a collaborative environment. Proactive and self-motivated with a passion for UX design.
