Senior Accountant | Lead Financial Excellence in Your Role

Are you a seasoned accounting professional ready to lead financial operations? We’re looking for a Senior Accountant who is highly skilled, detail-oriented, and capable of driving financial accuracy and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do:

1. Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards (IFRS).
  • Analyze financial data and present reports to management highlighting trends, variances, and insights.
  • Oversee the preparation of budget forecasts and monitor expenditures versus budgets.

2. General Ledger Management

  • Lead general ledger activities, ensuring the accuracy of entries and timely closing of accounts.
  • Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts.
  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.

3. Compliance & Internal Controls

  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors by providing requested schedules and documentation.
  • Develop and monitor internal controls to safeguard the company’s assets and ensure financial integrity.

4. Accounts Payable & Receivable Oversight

  • Review accounts payable and receivable transactions for accuracy and completeness.
  • Supervise collections and support cash flow management to optimize liquidity.
  • Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies.

5. Process Improvement

  • Identify and implement opportunities to enhance accounting processes and systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate financial reporting tools and improve efficiency.

6. Team Leadership & Support

  • Mentor and guide accounting team members, ensuring adherence to company policies and accounting standards.
  • Conduct training sessions to enhance the team’s accounting knowledge and skills.

Who You Are:

Educational Background:

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or a relevant certification is a strong plus.

Experienced Professional:

  • Proven experience as an Accountant, with a focus on Accounts Receivable and general ledger management, including a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.

Detail-Oriented & Analytical:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, accounts receivable processes, and relevant regulations.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality results.

Tech-Savvy:

  • Proficient in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets skills.

Leadership Skills:

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities, with experience mentoring and managing teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or a relevant certification is a plus.
