At Zid, we’re building MENA’s Total Commerce platform — and design is at the heart of every merchant experience. From first login to first sale, every pixel, flow, and interaction shapes how 15,000+ merchants grow, sell, and thrive.

We’re looking for a Product Design Lead to define and drive Zid’s design vision — building intuitive, elegant, and scalable user experiences that empower merchants and delight their customers.

This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll blend creativity with strategy — leading design excellence across UX, UI, and product systems to scale Zid’s ecosystem and make digital commerce simpler, smarter, and more human.

What You’ll Do?

1. Define & Drive the Design Vision

• Establish a user-centered design strategy that aligns with Zid’s product and business goals.
• Shape the visual and experiential language that defines Zid’s Total Commerce platform.

2. Lead UX & UI Innovation

• Craft seamless, intuitive experiences that help merchants sell, ship, and scale with ease.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to turn insights into elegant, conversion-driven interfaces.

3. Create Scalable Design Systems

• Build and maintain consistent, reusable design systems across all Zid products.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure fidelity, scalability, and speed in implementation.

4. Optimize Merchant & Customer Journeys

• Use research, heatmaps, analytics, and A/B testing to identify friction and opportunities.
• Continuously improve usability, accessibility, and engagement metrics.

5. Collaborate Cross-Functionally

• Work closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations teams.
• Translate complex challenges into simple, actionable design solutions.

6. Mentor & Grow the Design Team

• Coach and guide designers to innovate, iterate, and deliver excellence.
• Foster a culture of curiosity, empathy, and continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For?

• Experience: 5+ years in Product Design, UX/UI, or Interaction Design — ideally in eCommerce, SaaS, or logistics platforms.
• Design Mastery: Proven ability to craft high-impact digital experiences with a strong eye for detail.
• Systems Thinking: Expertise in design systems, usability testing, and rapid prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, AI prototyping tools).
• Analytical Mindset: Comfortable leveraging user insights, heatmaps, and data to guide design decisions.
• Leadership: Experience mentoring or leading designers; capable of building and scaling creative teams.
• Collaboration: Strong communicator who thrives in cross-functional environments.
• Mindset: Passionate about simplifying complexity and designing with empathy and purpose.

Bonus Points:

• Experience designing for eCommerce, Product-Led-Growth, B2B SaaS, logistics, or fintech products.
• Familiarity with design tokens, front-end frameworks, and component-based design systems.
• Knowledge of accessibility best practices and inclusive design principles.
• Experience in motion design, micro-interactions, or conversion rate optimization (CRO).
• English proficiency.
