Who We Are!

Back in 2019, spiderSilk was born with a bold idea: build regional, sovereign cybersecurity IP that could stand tall on the global stage.

Our mission? To shake up the way organizations protect their ever-changing digital worlds with continuous, intelligent, and autonomous security that doesn’t miss a beat.

We’re a global mix of curious minds, problem-solvers, and passionate builders, all united by one goal: making the internet a safer place for everyone. Around here, we thrive on vision, energy, and a strong sense of ownership.

If this feels like your kind of crew, you’ll probably fit right in.

Financial Operations & Controls

  • Own accounting, month-end close, financial statements, and management reporting cadence.

  • Implement strong internal controls, policies, and approval workflows (spend, procurement, delegations).

  • Ensure compliance across tax, regulatory, audit, and corporate governance requirements both for UAE and KSA with North America in the pipeline.

  • Oversee payroll, treasury, cash flow, and working capital management.

Commercial & Revenue Finance

  • Partner with Sales leadership on pricing, discounting, deal structuring, and approvals.

Investor & Board Readiness

  • Prepare investor-grade reporting, board packs, and performance narratives.

Systems, Data & Finance Enablement

  • Select and implement finance tooling (ERP/accounting, FP&A, billing, expenses) that scales

  • Build a finance data model that connects product usage, sales pipeline, and revenue outcomes.

  • Develop a lean, high-performance finance function (internal team + external partners as needed).

Leadership

  • Hire, coach, and develop a high-performing finance team over time.

  • Build a culture of accountability, ownership, and operational discipline across the company.

Success Measures (First 6–12 Months)

  • Accurate monthly close and reporting delivered on time with clear insights.

  • A reliable forecast model connecting pipeline, ARR and cash, with scenario planning.

  • Strong controls and spend governance without slowing the business.

  • Clear view of unit economics and initiatives to improve margin and efficiency.

  • Board/investor-ready reporting and diligence readiness.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years in finance leadership roles, including experience as Finance Director, VP Finance, or Finance Director in a high-growth company.

  • Strong SaaS/subscription business experience (cybersecurity or B2B software strongly preferred).

  • Deep understanding of revenue recognition, contract/accounting implications, and multi-entity operations.

  • Demonstrated strength in FP&A, cash management, and scaling finance operations.

  • Experience working with Boards, investors, fundraising, and diligence processes.

  • Strong knowledge of UAE/GCC finance, tax, and compliance frameworks.

  • Clear communicator who can simplify complex financial concepts for non-finance stakeholders.

  • High integrity, discretion, and commitment to strong governance.

  • A leadership seat at the table shaping a category-defining cybersecurity company.

  • High ownership and autonomy with direct impact on company trajectory.
